Alternative for webdialogs
-
Are there alternatives for webdialogs besides these:
- WXSU
- WIN32API.so (not a real alternative, more a different frame in which html is shown)
- with external dll
Thx!

Not that I know of.
Didn't Tomaz report that WXSU was causing problems?@pout said:

You refer to the thread where Jim was exploring usage of the Windows API? Yea - that is still webdialogs just with a differently looking frame.

This is the alternative I believe - creating a C-Extension where you create native windows.

WXSU is no longer used for SU2Thea, get the new exporter and delete WXSU.

Still WebDialog, but Flash in a WebDialog might be a viable alternative to html in a WebDialog.

no idea, gonna check on that (but that's maybe also the reason the exporter doesn't use it anymore)
Indeed that topic, i was hoping there was more to it, but app. notJim,
I'll have a look at that Gtk Server -
would fxruby or qtruby be other options?

There would be little difference between these and wxsu.
Maybe we should ask the OP about their goals and expectation?
