Interesting rule, to look real. However, evaluation will be by comparison to a photograph. How real is a photograph? Ansel Adams must be turning in his grave:-) How will they know if it is a render? One could ps a shaded wire-frame on the photo, and turn that in along with a copy of the photo. S*&t, it's 3:30 in the morning, and I am starting "to make non-sense". Good night all:-(

I checked that site out, but do not get what he actually wants, does he want same view with same shadows?

I think he wants same view, shadows, materials ..
Just replicate the photo using model, textures and render engine. No postpro in photoshop.. -

Okay so the best render wins Keyshot, what if the best render is a Thea render? all the Keyshot guys gonna give up with Keyshot and get Thea?
Too bad that keyshot is the prize, as IMO it's limited to only car renders anyway.
