CabinetCRUNCHER

Has anyone used or is actively using the Cabinet Cruncher software that can give some feedback?
It's suppose to work with Sketchup to develop cut list for cabinets.

No but noted in looking at your link they have a free trial version. It would be nice if one could use OpenOffice vs MS EXCEL

I own a copy. I find the door and drawer cruncher modules useful but over all cabinet cruncher was a disappointment. Someone proficient in SU can build a data base of components and use cutlist more effectively imho.

I too have a copy of CabinetCRUNCHER and find it very useful for creating cutlists. Since most cabinets are simple structures, I really don't understand why one would bother creating detailed 3D models for each and every cabinet in your project. Once you have established a basic construction scheme, you'll probably use that scheme for most if not all cabinets in your project (example: a set of kitchen cabs). Once you have your layout figured out, it's much easier to just punch in your numbers in a spreadsheet like CabinetCRUNCHER and go to work. If you need to tweak it, just make a quick adjsutment on the spreadsheet. I do like the idea of using SketchUp for creating basic layouts. By the way, CabinetCRUNCHER is supposed to be releasing a new Version 7 very soon. The new version is supposed to be a big step up from the current version.
