Green roof components/materials

Does anyone known of anything like sedum in shallow trays ... the warehouse doesn't really have anything good. Thanks.
-
Are you looking for a typical construction or a model?
If its the former, see attahced. Is this of any use?
-
Thanks Joe but I was really looking for something to help explain the use of the flat roof space to the more sceptical. But all info/advice is useful to me ... so thanks again.

Hi Chris
I don't know if they have an existing model of sedum, but if they don't I believe they model (for a fee) http://www.the3dstudio.com/keyword_details.aspx?search=sedum
Also is attached a pdf from the Canadian Morgtage and Housing Association here in Canada. I hope it is of help.

Well we used this system on a project for a couple of reasons.
The first was to minmise the visual impact of the roof from the neighbouring properties and the second was to score ecological points, we were re-introducing native species of plants that may have otherwise been lost due to development.
There are also benefits to do with storm water manamgnet as well as its insulation properties depending on which type of system you go for.
you could have a look at http://www.ciria.org.uk/buildinggreener/gr_introduction.htm

esp. the pdfs on the 'tech spec' page, I did a bunch of SU illustrations for them.

Thanks all.
I actually also found this specialist in Hong Kong. I hope they will be able to provide images that I can make into textures and hopefully give me a reasonable price for installing their modules. Cheers!
