2D Trees in elevation / plan
-
Hey guys, I've attached a file of a few standard trees I use frequently that I have included 2D plan images also. I thought I'd so this for use with site plans, etc....
I do have one issue though; some 'plan' shadows appear elliptical; not sure why. Maybe someone has an answer....
I'm playing around with a few others also; will post when done.
Cheers, hope you like.

Cheers, always useful to add a bit more foliage to the collection.

Thanks Andrew, nice colour to them also.

Thanks guys, any ideas on what is happening with the elliptical shadows?
-
just what i needed, that you (btw excellent work)

Wonderful, this is high quality work you are sharing here, thank you!!!
about the shadows: I do not know how exactly this is happening, but I am pretty sure that the reason is the fact that the component axis of the plan tree "disc" is not centered. I tested by exploding and grouping it ---> strage ellipse is gone (see skippy)
cheers

thanks, actually I didn't do much exept inspecting what you have modeled. It is always fun to do that with models I find well designed - and in this case I like the graphic style of your trees very much.
