Floating Glass

Here is an overnight progressive shot of some "floating glass" ceiling elements I created for Form Fonts last night. Nothing too special but I think they came out pretty well.

I like these. My only crit would be that the edges need more segments. I think the inside of the mesh is ok being lower poly as you do not notice it as much but the edges are too low poly. Granted these 9 times out of 10 will not be the focal point but an added detail.

those are great.. what'd you use to model the geometry? sandbox?

Yes Jason I used the sandbox then JPP for the thickness.

Frosted glass version would be nice, without colour. but with some green in the edge

i just figured sandbox was too rudimentary of a tool these days with all the fantastic plugins out. -
