There is such a great body of work there but still stand by my suggestion that lack of attention to verticals is highlighted over and over disrupting what could be some stunning works!
-
Hi Richard,
thanx for your critics and comments, and i perfectly understand what are you saying about the verticals, and i know to reach to that effect i need to close more my focal angle and get back my visor node, but i like the images the way that they are, and i know too that is a "rule" of architectural photo but its my choice to do it or not.don't get me wrong, its not my intention to be rude, i appreciate all the comments and critics, because of that and because this type of forums i upgrade my works and skills.

Well I say good on ya mate! Crits a good thing (great thing I think) but better is understanding it accepting it and standing to the other side and saying "But that is my style"! No one can argue with that!
Hey that last shot is brilliant! You do mate have a darn mastery of mood, I'll give you that!
Are the sun rays post pro or something Artlantis is now capable of? Long time since I've ventured with Artlantis, since the beta of R1!
-
Yep, is Post in After Effects, artlantis doesn't have volumetric lights yet.
hope the new version of artlantis come with a lot of improvements, cuz the other render engines for sketchup are gaining terrain so fast :thea render for example.regards

Great renders. I supose a lot of postprocess goes in these. Could you please post raw Artlantis side by side with finished article just to see how good is native Artlantis render.
-
I'd also like to see some of these scenes from SU with hidden geometry...
Some of them looks incredible heavy...
But like I've mentioned earlier in this thread, there's some really impressive renders... -

Interesting. It is what I was thinking. Your renders look good really due to your skillful postprocess. Native render looks quite weak imo. BTW are these rendered with version 3?

Your wicked links:
1/ Generally poor output quality (jump into vray)
2/ No perspective correcton
3/ People remind me "hot fuzz" movie.
