Plugin for this?

I'm trying to place groups/components (glass panels that I'm creating) in a random series along a curved wall, so that the glass panels take on the curve of the curved wall (i.e. so they would be lying flat and following the wall's contours.) The panels are placed on the wall with little metal mounts in each corner, so they are not actually straight on the wall's surface. I'm finding this very time-consuming and am wondering if there's a plugin out there that would allow me to do this quickly?
Or if anyone has any advice as to how I could model this quickly, that would be appreciated! I can't post pictures of this because it's for work.
Thanks guys!

hey, thanks! They kinda do the trick, still a lot of editing to do, but a million times faster than the other way I was doing things.
A suggestion for a plugin for someone to make: "Melt" - kinda like a mash up of the drop at intersection tool and the drape tool (so that the objects you drop onto the surface actually stick to or take the form of the surface they're dropping onto. I have no idea if this would even be possible to make, but if anyone out there likes a challenge, this would be so incredibly useful!

wow, yes, exactly like that. Thanks!! Is there a mesh-making plugin as well, or can you do that in normal Sketchup?
