As my family tree is mostly Scottish, I choose to wear BLUE every St. Pat's Day! And no, you won't find me wearing a leek in November either!

I'm a South African American that is Irish on Paddy's day, Mexican on Cinco de Mayo...anyone know of any other alcohol centric holidays?

It started in Australia in 1856 and was a holiday for the workers.....
Seems these days it has become a Monday or Friday for an excuse to squeeze enough grog down your throat as you can to celebrate being a worker.... then of course throw a sickie the next day 'because you deserve it!!!'
Heaven forbid they schedule it midweek....
EDIT: I did make it to work today.
