Baby bed

I did that today in SU Podium. What do you think?

Depending on what your were planning to achieve it looks like a great pseudo-clay render.
Are you planning to texture the cloth and put a material on what looks to be metal rails?
Got enough Teddy's
On a modeling/safety note, that bed would not be sold here in the states as the gaps between the bars are to large and on the corner curves they flare posing a wedge and strangulation hazard.

I think it looks great. Keep it up!
Be looking forward to see the whole baby room. -
Thanks for comment. I'm planning to add texture but not metal. I'm thinking about wood. We will see.

Solo this comment destroyed me. I did model for fun and I never thought about consequences if I do wrong plan of bed.
Dspace I didn't thought about room but this is good idea. If I find some free time I will do that. First I want finish this model.

Solo is right. From a design concept this is all wrong. I do not know what the bar going accross the top is but it does not look right. Spend some time researching round and curved cribs. There are alot out there. When designing something time spend reserching things like government codes and construction specifications will go a long way. It is just tough to give crits on this with the overall design being wrong from a design aspect. From a render standpoint it looks good. Decent lighting for a start. I would go back and fix the design issues and then add some good materials and render again.
I look forward to seeing the revised design.

Hello
First I want to say that you have right. I agree with scottpara and solo about that bed should be fixed because is not safe. My projects in Sketchup are only hobby and I wanted to say that I don't see every site of project because I'm not professional user. Your comments are very important for me because this is a source of my knowledge. I did some correction and what do you think now:

Asirad,
Adding the sweeps around the head of the bed did fix some design flaws. There are standards as to the spacing of crib slats and I believe it is 3" on center with no more than 2" of open space between slats (its been a while since I designed baby furniture to be built). I am still questioning the bar with the hanging toys on it. It just looks too low.
Overall I really like the shape of the crib and your corrections are working while still staying true to your design. Well done.
