If you need any 1 on 1 help I would be glad to chat. I use Hotmail to chat to friends quite often, just e-mail or PM me and I'll send you my hotmail address.

Thanks much, but I'm not allowed to share email adresses. Sigh ๐Ÿ˜ž
Maybe we could just talk on the forum.. ๐Ÿ˜„

Hmm... Well, I donโ€™t see much point in having an e-mail address if no one else has it, kind of defeats the point. Being able to chat in real time would be MUCH faster and efficient. Iโ€™m sorry but if you canโ€™t understand the tutorials given before than I donโ€™t think I can do much to help otherwise.

Yeah...IDK, I seem to be getting along fine with making concept cars...Also, How did you make that ford mach 2 (i think that was the one) with just one picture? How was it true to the actual car? Also, you haven't been uploading too much...Hope to see some models of yours soon ๐ŸŽ‰

The Ford Mach 2 had a very "rough" set of Blueprints and only about 3 images. The Mustela I'm working on (as pictured above) only has a few photos but no BP's. I try to make the model as accurate as possible based on what can be seen in the photos and in any concept sketches, in the case of the Mustela, Ghia also built a model for De Tomaso and Lancia based on the same design

Ahh...I see. ๐Ÿ˜„ Maybe you should do a masserati GT. IDK if there are blueprints for it though...

You're a miracle worker, you should try your hand at modeling archeological artifacts, from a few bits and pieces you would make the discovery of the century. ๐Ÿ˜„

Yeah well he could impregnate infertile women just by touching them too, but don't spread the word.

Back to the model, awesome work. Reminds me of the Lambo Espada but of course, without the Hunchback rear. Basically, this = JLH back in the heydays and Espada = JLH today.

Congratulations for your models, Rogue. They are stunning considering the limited capabilities of SketchUp as a "free-form" modeler.
Do you use any plugins for your creations, or just standard tools?
                                Keep it up mate!

Well, I don't use any plug-ins and life's hell working on models.

                                      /rant

I see you working on a mysterious Falcon - here's mine. (Links instead of pictures 'cause this thread will eventually explode)

                                      Enter "Froject Falcon" :
I went for the Japanese-gangster inspired look. They like low, long things (no pun). Not sure if they like yellow though... Here's the current situation . The car's not finished, so I used shadows to hide the ugly bits.

wouldn't some of the plugins that create surfaces from a given set of edges be of use for this kind of work?

Well Thomas, there is the soap skin bubble tool. I have tried that out and it seems it could be useful for forming some tricky surfaces but I donโ€™t seem to have too much trouble as it is
