How to buy from a US Company?

How can you get around buying from a US company when I am based in the UK?
I have received an email with an offer on a French learning course I would like to purchase. The offer is $59.99.
When I click on the buy now link it transfers me to the UK site and the price is £59.99 (the currency exchange shows it should be £36.13)It is an electronic download so I don't need to use shipping.
Is there a way to get to the site without it recognizing I'm based in the UK?

First id double check there isnt a way to switch which site you look at, sometimes theres a little button or drop down menu hidden away somewhere.
If that doesnt exist, you could try using a US based proxy server so it thinks its dealing with someone from the US, you'll want to be quite scrupulous in your choice of proxy, though as your going to be sending your credit card details through them. May even be worth using pay pal or something equally less risky than your credit card.

Doh! Good thinking Remus.
It was as simple as navigating to the US site as you said. -

Just for fun just browse the Apple site for different countries. Apple.com, Apple.com.au, Apple.be, Apple.de etc...
I don't get the reason for these hugh differences sometimes.
All I know is that I rather ship a Belgian Mac to Australia than to buy an Aussie Mac. -
i recently brought some parts for my classic beetle from an american company and they shipped them over.
i could have got them over here from a company that's an english franchise of the american company, but from the english company it would have cost me just over £3000.
the american company, including shipping and also some little extras, it cost me £1890.
the guy asked me why i was buying from them, rather than their english counterpart, so i outright told him why (after the payment had gone through of course!) he was more than shocked!
the crazy thing is that this wasn't even when the exchange rates were in my favour, had i done it then i could have saved even more.
i just don't get it.
