Who is it?
-
theyve all got the same medal, no idea who they are though
-
The thing that's baffling me is that they appear to all be wearing the Victoria Cross meaning they're either a) distinguished British military men or b) are British royalty..... but c) those moustaches are so typically Germanic/Austro-Hungarian aristocracy that I'm guessing they're not "British".
-
Here's another one. But you don't need to get his name.
-
Need another clue- I'm about 90% certain that it's the Victoria Cross they're all wearing (am I at least right on that?), but nothing springs to mind to connect four of the 1,353 recipients and I'm not going to go through the whole list LOL. If it's not the VC then I'm completely stumped.
p.s. I think I'm going to have to ban myself from this thread- my productivity is down 100% and I think I broke Google. Just got to get this one and then I'm out!
-
Yes, it's the VC. But the 1353 recipients didn't all get them at the same time.
-
OK, after much head-scratching and even more Wikipedia-ing they are:
John Rouse Merriott Chard
Gonville Bromhead
Alfred Henry Hook
James Henry ReynoldsAll were awarded the VC for their actions in the Zulu War of 1879 and featured in the classic Michael Caine film "Zulu".
Although I'm aware of the film I've never actually seen it, so I must confess that the names meant absolutely nothing to me. Extra points please!

Well tracked down Jackson...now go and get some work done.
-
Here is an easy one, no clues.
-
Obama?
-
Yes, I knew it was too easy. They say the eyes never change and in his case this is so true.
-
To be honest i cheated, theres a cool search engine i found ages ago that searches for pictures: http://tineye.com/ at least i know it actually works now
-
hmmm, that's clever actually, I never imagined something like this existed.
-
Wow! Impessive. Well, we can now kiss all the guess what/who? games goodbye.
-
Not quite, its got a very limited index. Even for that pic of obama it only bought up a few chinese sites, and i only then guessed it from more recent pics of the big o.
-
Yes...kind of tongue in cheek comment. It seems it recognises the image itself, rather than the content. So even if the index improves, you could probably fool it by reversing the image or by just cropping it.

Final clue! The guy in the picture must have asked, 'What's up Doc?'
That's funny, it doesn't look like Bugs Bunny.
