I also get the disturbing feeling stinkies 'colour blindness' is rubbing off

when i said colour blind i really meant 'fondness for dull tones' rather than the proper 'cant tell red from green' thing.

Looking at this again after a brief interlude i think im going to change the position of the sun, and get less building in the frame, it looks weird at the moment.

Nope
i was loosely copying a building in town and it hasnt got any supports under the stairs, struck me as slightly strange as well. -

good call man, defo something to look at.
i use that tip from the "making of machlud haul" (andy collis) (yes i went back and checked all that, i don't have the memory of a thing that has a good memory) tutorial where you flip the image in photoshop to get a different perspective on the composition.still loving it though remus.

Nice renders, building looks real but the sun doesn't look right. Sun looks square.
