Too much google

I've about had it with Google. I don't want all my software integrated so tightly. What happened? I tried the latest Picasa for the name tags feature and deleted some contacts, and the same contacts were removed permanently from my gmail account.

I wouldn't mind if it meant that their software was more stable as a result, but it's far from. As for Google's new homepage's image search options...
