Curtains in the bathroom??? πŸ˜’ Must be an american thing!

Mate the room is rather big!

See if this helps at all mate. you can see downlights on the right, emitters panels (one top, two bottom) with blickers so as to soften the edge light projection and opening for skydome illumination.

If it helps, this is a very large bathroom I did using items I got from the Google warehouse,
and rendered it in Podium. ( Nice modeling BTW )

Finally got around to playing with this scene some more. I don't think I would make for a good interior designer and this is not necessarily my taste in decor, but I had fun with it and it was good practice and a good modeling exercise. I wouldn't say it's done by any stretch, but I doubt I'll have time to play mess with it again in the near future.

Rendered in Twilight and Post in LightZone and Photoshop.

Nice texturing, would you recommend Lightzone?

Yes, I would recommend. It's a great program and easy to use. There are a ton of settings and cool spline masking to limit effects. It's worth the $100.

Its great! Lighting is good, bump on the floor is good, mirror is great (so great you can see the contractor never installed the crown molding on the other side of the room πŸ’š ) Seriously though, it looks good, Adam.

Thanks guys. I guess with a mirror in the room it's not good to neglect the opposite side of the room! πŸ˜†

Fantastic modeling. Good texturing too. Did you add the background outdoors in post or did you add it into your model somehow before rendering?

Troy, thanks, I added the background in Post. I originally had one set up as a billboard with a .jpg directly in Sketchup, but the raw render came out pretty dark. As I adjusted the levels, the background became too saturated so I removed it and added a new one in Photoshop.

Why didn't you just use the background directly in TWR...?? πŸ˜•
You can use spherical backgrounds as well as background images directly in TWR... πŸ˜‰

Thanks Kim. I'd rather add the image in a way that I can see it's positioning. I guess in Twilight you could always hide the model and do a quick test render to see it. Didn't think of that until just now. πŸ˜›

                                Here's an updated render...different angle...a little DOF.
