Frederik, Arroway has a bunch of great ones, but at a pretty hefty price, they do give samples but those samples are to small to use, or restricted for commercial use.
Although I find the samples big enough for most renders, you're right that they're restricted for commercial use...
May I suggest that you make a direct contact to Gerald Menzel at Arroway Textures...??
I'm sure he can help you with a high resolution texture...
-
Thanks for the suggestion frederik.
dedmin, that texture looks great, I added a normal, displacement and specular map to it, here is how it looks.

Anyone want the complete set of 5 maps let me know.
-
pete there is a texture similar to this in the 2nd podium texture pack. although its not quite as large. nice render
-
Thanks Dedmin!

I am interested, Solo, in the 5 maps- and what you use to make the specular and normal maps! i have seen talk of programs on this forum that are capable, but i can't place any. Thanks!
Dedmin, great texture! -
thats pretty sweet Solo. what did you render with?
-
Just an FYI - that flagstone texture is a commercial texture. Part of this collection - http://shop.3dtotal.com/product_info.php?products_id=51
-
hey Solo, could you upload those 5 images please? Could come in handy some day

-
-
I dunno pete, sometimes I've seen free textures that have been put into commercial texture packages
-
Hmm, i don't remember where i got it, but it wasn't commercial - some package with bunch of pictures! It very hard to recognize what is what these days - you decide people!
-
solo. I checked the podium second texture pack (architecture section) and there are like 5 similar textures you could use with some tweaking.
-
Thanks for the heads up Oliver, I will get hold of Sid to swing them over to me, as I have never been able to log into the registered side of the Podium site.
-
Pete let me know which ones you need.
