      Hi Guys,
In these serevre recessionary times it looks like many of us have to start looking at ways of down sizing and one of the first things to be looked at is the 'wheels'.

      The Smart Car .......

I've been looking at what's on the market in the downsized 'wheels' department. It would be great if there were some reasonably priced electrics or hybrids there but its going to be a few years before that happens.

In my book one little car ticks most of the boxes, its the Fiat Panda 100HP! High driving position, plenty of room for bits and pieces and more if the rear seats and folded and its quite nippy at 0-60 in around 9 sec, also it does around 45 mpg! And most importantly its easy on the pocket. I see 2 year old specimens advertised at nearly half full retail price. Oh! and its got tinted glass so you won't be recognised driving around in your downsized 'wheels' 😆 But the main thing is its a lot of fun!

The 4x4 version Fiat Panda 4x4 vs Range Rover
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAg4DdXAp7Y doesn't look as good as the 100HP but the proposed Fiat / Jeep Phoenix looks the business for a bit of off road fun.

What would be your choice for downsized wheels?
