Components in FOV
-
Here's a question Dave R asked in another topic that I think could do with the attention of the Ruby cognoscenti.
@dave r said:
That particular model has 942 component instances although there certainly aren't that many visible in the scene. Is it possible to list only the components that are in the camera's field of view?
In a standalone context the list could relate to the outliner contents.
It's a bit too headachy for me but I would be really interested in any response.

You could probably do it using the raytest method: http://code.google.com/apis/sketchup/docs/ourdoc/model.html#raytest

Remus, get out of here!
I keep watching "normal
regular" users here turning into ruby gurus lately with the greatest astonishment.Now don't you start it, too! I'm too old for this kind of pressure!
