Skoda YETI
-
I've learned about the Skoda Yeti today. It looks like a very sensibly designed compact SUV, that should not get too many disapproving looks. Its available in x2 and x4 drives.
The design is 'boxy', totally acceptable for SUVs, I think. The problems with many of the SUVs on the market currently, is that they really have no more interior space than a standard saloon.
The Yeti has an innovative design that allows the vehicle to be turned practically into a small van by removing the rear seats thus providing a flat loading deck, very neat!
The attached pics are of the concept vehicle. In the production model they did not proceed with the cool integrated roof bars, the integrated rear door handles or the split 5h door. However the overall shape was maintained along with those nicely flushed spots.
I like it!

PS: I think I can see that Skoda picked up a few design cues from other vehicles on he market currently. Can any of you Car Nuts spot them before I list what I think?
