Ok. We finally have a clue about this. But I still cant figure out the problem. When I load the simitar model and look in the outliner I cant find a group that doesnt have anything in it. Did you fix the model?
I need a model that fails so I can find out why it doesnt fail for everyone. Then I will be able to sleep nights.

I don't believe that the scimitar had a model error. Mr. Planet's problem was caused by the plugin, loft(chris fullmer). I'm not sure why, but Mr. Planet sent an error report. I'm not sure if JaViXP's problem was caused by loft, though. All I know is that there is something that creates an empty group.

That's it! Simple Loft by Chris Fullmer! (That's the plugin that broke SP, I have this plugin too).Why did you repeat something Physicsguy already said. Anyway, outliner may have deleted that group (I believe it checks each one) due to it having nothing in it.

BTW, the group is called 'Group' and it's at the bottom of all objects names group.
