I'll give you a clue, it is a top elevation...
Terribly sorry, Remus, but "top elevation" is an oxymoron.

some kind of pyramid?

Eiffel Tower?

The Luxor in Las Vegas

It looks like a Fractal equation.
-
an image spectrum ( fourier's transform ) but no idea of the original?
-
Good guesses guys (especially given my dodgy use of 'top elevation' )
Kwist, youve got it.
Its a Sierpinski pyramid.
A snip at 500,000 faces. The next one up was too large to handle, though.

It looked like B&W Jeans material.
-
Quite a high poly way of getting a jeans material

Hi Remus,
When one person guesses Pyramid and another guesses Fractal, I'd agree those are good guesses.
So, can you tell us how you did it? A recursive Ruby script or just manually making components out of components?

i did it by making making one triangle, copoying it, componenting the whole lot, copying it, componenting the whole lot etc. Components out of components as you put it.
