Is it true that this is not the final version of SP3?
-
Thanks.
-
BTW sorry i gave you and Camokid11 that 1* star. That wasn't intended to be the final rating.
-
So do I, it's released but I guess Chris hasn't finished the post about it.
I removed link when I saw Hobbnobs's! http://code.google.com/p/sketchyphysics2/downloads/detail?name=SetupSketchyPhysics3RC1-WinInstaller.exe&can=1&q= -
-
it's alright chris, but i don't know why you went so crazy on it??? the b52 does take off, and the elevators were built with inertial dameners so they dont' move too fast, so why the lash out?
-
Sorry. I just seemed to have a short fuse that day. When i first tested it i had a top perspective of the bomber and it looked like it was on the ground. But the only thing that i found wrong and still think is a little over-engineered is your plane. I turned on the layers and a found tons-o-objects. I didn't see the purpose for so many... Just use the wings and elevators and the like themselves for control. I don't want to criticize it, because it does perform well, but that can slow down the sim and that geometry could interfere with obstacles.
-
you have to realise that the fighter was made by camokid11, and he'd never made a plane before, he didn't have a clue
-
Well... considering it was a co-operation, i expected you would have helped him with it.
-
i did, that's the reason why it actually flew, but i didn't want to seem patronising by changing the whole thing, so i just modified bits that he'd made
-
Well, it was wrong for criticism, because after all it did perform up to my standards and is able to compete on equal terms with the other plane models(although only you and i attempted such things, other than Mr. Planet) After spending some time, The plane deserves the rightful mark of 5*, and in a more detailed figure, 9/10. This model was outstanding for a beginner. Well done. (OFF TOPIC)Does Camokid11 have an account on Sketchucation?
-
I don't believe he does, he has msn but no-one else on the warehouse does, which makes things very difficult if you want to do a projct with anyone else but him
-
you have to admit though, mr planets plane isn't too good. it's way too short and flips end over end constantly
-
MSN? I might get one. The only thing is that you are somewhere in england And i am not. The timezones could only limit the time we have to chat or something. And, BTW, do you know camokid in person, like serg. johnson does?
-
i do not know him in person no, we live a few miles apart, but i know the two of them on msn, and you should get msn, it's really good for general use, and has some really useful features. also, anyone who has msn and sketchyphysics can add me if they like. my address is: thehobbnob@hotmail.co.uk
-
Ya. I figured it wouldn't be too good(i could never download it), because he hasn't had enough experience with sp3. Same thing with my joey plane. Short, fat, and stubby. I don't even like it.
-
lol to be honest neither did i. in reference to your comment on my bike: you know hwat I'm like, I make really complex models that do slightly better than a really simple one, that's me!
-
few miles? woah. Too bad with me. I don't even know anyone on the warehouse who is American. maybe platypus? BTW again i saw you can speak german. I could barely understand the first part of your review.
-
I find it easy to learn, because, i am a bit german. Maybe that is why i am good at Sketchyphysics. The germans always produce thing with quality.
-
yes i do speak a bit of german i'm learning it at my grammar school (I'm 15) and I'm coming along quite well, it can be annoying though. I never guessed you were american! i thought you were from holland or somewhere like that...
-
The warehouse is almost like a melting pot. MR planet is nepalese, and you and the three are english. XBOX_360 is from holland.
