hit the play button and it will work.
-
no um the when I hit that it plays the sim but doesnt do anything else.
-
you need to have a controllable joint that is controlled by a slider located on the control panel, and an object must be connected to the joint. then you should have a slider
-
ya i do ive tried like a moter a piston a servo all of the controlled joints but it still comes up with the inspector for some reason.

When you press UI, the inspector is SUPPOSED to come up; that's what the UI is, it's for setup of the simulation; the control panel with the sliders comes up when you start the simulation, by pressing play.
EDIT/ You do have the latest version, don't you? The first version didn't have a control panel. /EDIT

Ok thanks for the link um I edited the controlpanel.rb and now when I click play um it does bring up the the controlpanel now but its just a blue window any sugestions?

I think this is a bug I fixed today. Under some conditions sliders wont appear in the control panel. Fixed in next release.
-
Ok so there is no way of me making it work with this version and also when is SP3 coming out.

Put a slider with the same name in some other place (like magnet strength) and it should work.
SP3 has no specific release date. Just "when its done"
