I currently use the extend11 ruby from Rick Wilson which extends a line to the next nearest line.

Does anyone know of a script that will extend a line to another selected line (not necessarily the nearest)?

None that I know of. have you tried the 1001 tools? I have not really looked through them, but perhaps its something that GOHCH has written?

It has a Extend Line tool similar to AutoCAD.

                yep, k-tools is da man

can extend one line to meet another (or its projection) in a "T" intersection and two lines to meet in an "L" intersection

and lots of other stuff too 😄

just an observation about using k-tools to extend/intersect lines. if you extend a line to meet another line and you are working within a group, the second line will be redrawn outside of the group.
