Thanks!

Thank you Mr Dale and Miguel for compliments... indeed when i first started to use sketchup i didn t believe that i ll reach this level of mastering sketchup .
I ll try sometime to see what can i do with that screen recorder. Thanks again!

P.S. Last two pictures are actually animations so click on them in order to view the animation
Thanks!

Really excellent SDS work!
-
thanks,i m trying to improve
-
Your concept is amazing, is an example of modeling in sketchup.
a question, more or less in weight of such a file when you have that amount of sub divisions? -
Well the lambo concept is about 8,16 mb but i have it mirrored
and here it comes the first parts of a raw of videos on how i m doing the cars(remember i m designing while i m modeling, there were no sketches in my mind) [flash=660,525:2rg3uqhw]http://www.youtube.com/v/tzjA0GPdQrw&hl=en&fs=1&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b&border=1[/flash:2rg3uqhw]

Thanks!

Ha! I just watched the last video, and your process looks very familiar. There is an enormous amount of tweaking and testing in creating an exact organic shape with SDS, and you showed it very well in this video.
I've gotten intensely involved in levels of detail like this, and found that many hours have passed without my having noticed. I haven't done any cars because I don't have the eye for car design that you obviously do. I can appreciate and understand (and even duplicate) the technical skill, but the conceptual vision is not something you can teach -- you either have it or you don't.
You certainly seem to have it...

Thanks!
If u have patience u can do whatever u want IF u have imagination.
Here is the last video recorded until now....maybe i ll shot others but for now this is all.

another concept (WIP)
-
This is most definitely one of your weirdest car and also ugliest(at least so far ).
-
maybe or maybe not -
-
nice supersonic plane there...
and yes,the front looks a bit like my concept
-
I have watched your videos. Your technique is quite familiar to me. I use a similar method when dividing or adding detail the mesh manually and filling in gaps in mesh but other than that I make my models quite a lot different. I have had trouble with that joint push-pull tool. I downloaded it but I cannot seem to get it to work in any version of SU... I canβt seem to get the sub-smooth to work either.
I think the above design looks very much like a Caterham, although the size of the wheels might suggest that itβs a little bigger, I very much like the 7 shape.
Best of luck with future modeling

Even ugly has potential . Can't wait to see it finished.

Speaking of SDS, I've used it for a brief time; it's pretty hard but rewarding. So far I've managed to make a spoiler (the one on the Artega) . So wrap it up, almost all of the work goes to preparation. Then let the SDS do the rest. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

If you are reffering to how I'm using SDS...Its not that...It just doesn't appear in SU. Nor do most of the plug-ins I try to use.
