Lawson Cypress Door made because I wanted to ๐Ÿ˜„, and to show Solo what "notty cypress looks like", and well maybe oneday I might just model my own house in sketchup?
This door is the front door to my home, we used Cypress a lot when we built as no treatment is required on the timber, its borer resistant & it has a great smell.
You may wish to reduce the image size of photo used.

As a matter of interest who has modelled their own home, maybe you'd like to share?

That's an excellent idea for practicing! I'll give it a try. Hey, why not make a thread on this subject?

used structurally as rafters, beams, and posts within the roof of a New Zealand "kiwi" made home.
              Inspirational !!

In case you didnt know it has a very powerful smell to which some like and some cant handle it, if its not a well ventilated home, one may at first struggle with it, unless coated with a urethane or similar moisture cured paint or laqueer.
