GCH4 Making the Most of **it
-
Guys,
Here is an interesting project! http://www.gardinerch4.com/index.html
'If you donate to the G/CH4 project, you can become the proud owner of one of our products (poo gem) made from fully sanitized and durable resin-moulded horse dung, sourced from the Queen's Household Cavalry in Knightsbridge.'
I like the way the whole site has been put together and I may even make donation ..... how many people have a 'poo gem'?
Mike
PS: And Ross before you ask! I picked up this 'gem' from Popular Science

Thats crap!
-
Jokes aside, it looks like a really sustainable product that solves a major problem. And the raw material is free. I don't want the poo paperweight though.
-
Do they make kitchen countertops? That would really be testing the limits.
-
maybe a cutting board?
-
Mike, where do you find these weird things?
-
Give your bride a diamond when you get engaged. Give her a poo gem on the signing of the divorce papers.
-
I've often thought that ALL houses should at this point in time should have self contained systems for the recycling of human and animal (pets) waste. For one thing it would make people think twice about the planet and how it works. It the future I think we will have to look at ALL ways of harvesting energy.
This one was from Popular Science Magazine, great read!
-
Hey Ross, how about reversing that thinking? A poop ring to start off with and a diamond one after she 'proves' herself as a good wife twenty years later on ...... yeah! in my dreams
-
Yeah Mike, i'm all for recylcing but i think poo and especially horse manure can be more useful as natural fertiliser as compost for flowers, crops..any plant, it's way better than anything chemical, so i don't see in this use of poo anything else than an excentricity and not totally useful.Maybe if all the garbage cans would be made of this instead of plastic and you could through it away with the garbage every week it would be a better idea.
-
I can just imagine the future...
Dad to family: "Hey guys this week we need to eat lots of cabbage, onions and beans as I would like higher octane poop-fuel for this weekends drive in the country side"
-
..... and why not
