Seamless textures - Pattern Studio
-
I have been trying to find a cheap/easy way to create seamless textures from photographs. Has anybody tried Pattern Studio, which seems quite affordable. Also, if you have any experience with similar softwares please let me know.

That looks cool, however I would suggest you look at this:
http://www.luxology.com/whatismodo/imageSynth/
An awesome product, and standalone.

I agree with Solo, but perhaps worth mentioning...?!?
It's also available as a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop...

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I also found this free software (Texture Studio 1.14)
http://www.blitzbasic.com/toolbox/toolbox.php?tool=139It doesn't have all the functions that ImageSynth has, but it gives decent results for being free.

Wow...
Sorry for bringing this old thread back to life again, but I just learned that ImageSynth has been discontinued...
Thought others should know as well, just in case... -

What happened to just using the offset command in PhotoShop?

What about http://www.allegorithmic.com/substances/library/substance-bitmap2material
Does anybody have any experience with this or is there some other good ones available nowadays?
