Notice the suspect behind the car, apparently firing a gun - you see the smoke from the muzzle, and a split second later - the Shepherd Police Dog leaps across the roof of the auto, clamps onto the suspect, and brings him down so quickly - you'll watch it several times to really appreciate the valor of this dog.

I only wish we could see the dudes face as the dog is jumping over the car...

That doggy's performance was impressive. The way the dog just flew over the car reminds me of the 'killer rabbits' in Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail.

If the criminal types were smart they'd even the playing field with their own trained dogs. They could be trained to smell cops!

It's a very cool video, taken from a longer one of French police dog training exercises. One of them is incredible- 2 dogs attack the trainer with such speed and force that their momentum sends him helplessly flying backwards. Incredible animals and amazing trainers.

That looks like a training video perhaps. The suspects arms are super huge and super immobile. Looks like he is all wound tight with portection for the dog to attack his arms and body. Still totally impressive though,

                          Chris

EDIT: Ha! I was right. I posted that before I watched the YouTube one. I didn't realize it was going to show up in there too. Very cool videos.

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
