Very nice! Did you take the models all apart manually? There are some scripts around to do the same thing...
-
So great.... what's ruby U use to draw these models?
-
Hello to all, and thanks.
The extra ruby i use is, Unfold, Skin, Joint Push Pull and Tools On Surface.
Thanks to all the great guys who make this little diamonds.
The secret is... simplify, simplify and simplify.
The Sketchup is a great tools for the job.
I look for ten years, and this litle program solve almost all the problems.
I search all the net for years, and know almost all the programs that can unfold. FormZ, Rhino3D, TouchCad, and Lamina. The level of distortion of the first and second, dont work very well.
So, i search for solutions and read many, about the subject. So many math...
Then, i take a job in signmaking and inflatables, to learn the ins and outs off sewing.
Then, 1 + 1 and start to gather ideas.
In three months set a course of planning Inflatable.
The images showed is part of the tests that i did.
So, i was happy to have achieved my goal and decided to share with those who helped me.
