[REQ] Print view as seen while editing a component or group?

I was wondering if it is possible for a Ruby script to allow us to print the view you see onscreen when you are inside a component or a group editing it and you have "hide rest of model" and/or "hide similar components" enabled?
It would be a very convenient print option. This would remedy hiding other geometry in the model "outside" a group or component or doing a cut-and-paste of a screen capture while "inside" the component.
