Here's something I did for antoher woodworker recently. He wanted plans and a cutlist for a bed that a family member saw in a catalog. The bed shown is a queen but they wanted a twin. This was easy to do and an enjoyable diversion from some of my other SketchUp work. I suppose the drawing was about 2 hours worth and the cutlist was done in less than 30 seconds.

      The image I started with:

And the drawing I came up with:

Man, you know you never know these days. I was wondering if this was a render first πŸ˜’ but did not even dare to ask.

        It'd've been a pretty one however! πŸ˜‰

Also nice drawing (and bed). Are they going to build it?

          Hi Gai,

Thank you. You'd know if I made a render that looked like that. I'd be shouting from the rooftops. 🀣

As far as I know, the bed is under construction now. I think it is supposed to be a Christmas gift. The fellow who is building it said he'd send photos of it when it is completed. I'll post them if he does.

Yeah, I guess I'd've seen them in the gallery first πŸ˜„

I'd have been so excited I'd have posted it three or four times in the gallery.

Here are a couple of others. The first wasn't so quick but it is anatomically correct. Every part was drawn in. Probably the largest model file size I ever done.

And this little cabinet was done for Fine Woodworking. It was drawn so they could make plans in PDF format to distribute along with a video series running on the website. I made a bunch of scenes for them and they exported the images to make the plans.

                  Thanks for looking.
