Help, I guess I'm loosing it in my old age, but search as I may, I cannot find the Film & Stage plugin. All I come up with is the Film & Stage components, and links to Style Builder. ๐Ÿ˜•

      Have fun...

Thanks Mario, even though I knew it was for v.5, I just didn't think to look for it on the older version plugin page. Like I said, getting older every day...

        Have fun...

          Thanks Mario, ..

          Welcome.
If your'e famyliar with Podium, could you check if you get the same view framing problem as I have ?
That is set a camera type then render, viewport size, and see if the rendered view has the same framing as in SU. (Mac or Win doesn't matter)

Since they did not update it, we have to find the version 5downloads.
Try there, it's in french but it does'nt matter.
            http://sketchup.google.com/download/previousplugins.html
Scroll down a bit and you should find it.
Beware of where the installer will want to put it !
Make sure you install in the Google 6-SketchUp-Plugins folder !! There should be the Previs folder then.
It will work just fine in v6. ๐Ÿ˜„
Except it changes the view framing in Podium renderings. ๐Ÿ˜ข (or is it just me ?)
I wish a Ruby genius would look at that. I need it for work.

I would guess this has to do with the aspect ratio of the cameras. If you set the camera's AR to 0 before rendering, does that fix it?

                  Hi

The strange window framing is the reason why I removed the 'stage' plugin from my PC.
It doesn't work together with render engines as your render output will not match the SU viewport anymore.

I think best thing would be having better camera control options(tilt,dolly,..) within an improved animation plugin....or SU 7 ๐Ÿ˜„ .

wow, I had a look at the film & stage plugin years ago and didn't really understand it's benefits, therefore deleted it again.

                      but that script is amazing!
especially if you are involved in setdesign it is so easy to set up camera positions - phantastic!
