The pics disappeared. I get a '403 forbidden.'

Hm. You are right - maybe they discovered the bandwidth theft...

I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, that's interesting stuff, too.
We still have the city walls (about 2/3 - 3/4 of them) although at many places they are between the houses. If you choose "Barbican square" from the pulldown menu here (it's in Java so I cannot give the exact URL) you can see the panorama from there. If you turn on the Info layer and turn North (Γ), you can jump to a quite long section of the northern walls (they go on for about the same length behind the hill on the left).
Unfortunately the little map doesn't seem to work.

So you are really interested in light and architecture.
Take a look at the event now taking place in my almost home town : http://www.gloweindhoven.nl/
I have already seen a few of the pieces of art, myselve. Really inspirational and amazing what a creative enlightend mind can do with architectural structures. -
True and that's also a nice site. Very interesting art work!!
I was at the Festival of Lights in Lyon a couple years ago (it's always/generally at the firt wee-end of December).
Good business, too; about 1 million tourists visit Lyon at a time tourism is really down (before Christmas)
