They are supposed to be speaker screens but I messed up and made them too dark... they were supposed to be the color of the walls... whoooopsies! It's funny you say that about the door casing... as I made it extra thick so the chair rail would die right into to it... maybe its the perspective?

It is a texture Pete, I also added a bump map to it... I know it is definitely my material settings but I just don't know what to do... anyone with experience in Kerky maybe can help! I will post it in the Kerky boards as well and see if I can get something outta them...

I am not versed in KT, but if there is a way of toning down the Irradiance then you may be able to overcome this.

Or a quick color correction in PS should help for a quick fix.

David, I think the thickness of the casing is fine, but for traditional doors such as those the casing should be wider.

Well here is the updated render... still got some 'pink' issues but it's not as bad... anyone?

Pete, I'm not all that good with PS. I changed the hue/saturation for the ceiling on this one... is it any better?

Definately a lot better, I use paintshop pro (not a PS fanboy), I adjusted the back lighting and flashfill.

Like Solo, I aint a KT user but colour bleeding is also an issue with Vray. The workaround is to precalculate the lighting solution with the floor being a white material and you simply switch textures back when it comes to final render and you load the precalculated solution. Not sure if you can do this with KT though πŸ˜•

That looks great Pete! But I would like to be able to do a render and not have to adjust it a whole bunch in photoshop... thanks for your help though...
