Great model, is it yours?
The render lacks realism IMO, Vray, KT, Indigo, maxwell etc would have done a better job but probably not as fast.
-
Nice one. Personally i quite like the not-completely-photo real look youve got going, makes the whole thing seem a bit more floaty and conceptual.
Could do with adjusting the environment though, Its looks like its been placed in the middle of a field surrounded by trees at the moment.

It's a really nice looking model and the whole look I find quite appealing.
Is the tree line behind Ibon one graphic?

Any chance you could point out where it lacks realism? I'm sure it does, I just want somebody knowledgeable about this stuff to lift rendering artefacts / things missing out of the image for me.

No, the model was made by dwilgus904, I found it at warehouse and I think it's very well done (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=5065f445750ed480b1405c60da930365&prevstart=0), It is a shame that does not have any more models.

Yes, IMy idea was to apply a DOF effect to frontal trees and to background, but as they are not inside model and were added later in Photosho i didn't know very well how to do it .
I know how to make a depth map in sketchup and use it to create a DOF effect in photoshop, but for that i need a rendering software that render sketchup scenes exactly at their original position like VRay for ketchUp, Fryrender or Kerky. Unfortunately, Hypershot doesn't.
So does anyone know how to get that effect withouth a depth map?
I've been trying to improve my model following your comments, hope now it's quite better

very, very, nice...i can smell profession.
real good structure and simple detailes.
realy nice house and design...

I think the rendering style is nice and has a consistent feel between subject and surroundings. Nice atmosphere, but somewhat "contained" due to soft shadows, very quiet.
As for the house (a downloaded model)--I like the roof. But it looks like they dug a hole in the ground in order to have to walk up stairs to a one story structure. OK, that's for the car. It is purposely disconnected from the land, as if the whole point is to drive out on the weekend and look out at the trees from inside the rather over-engineered abode. Fun though. As it seems to be on a rise, maybe this is to replace a house on Galveston island.

I liked the trees around the first image better. They frame the view around the house, a much better composition.

I like the second last one best, can one add bumps in Hypershot? (been too long since I used the demo) if yes, then adding a bump to the grass would be great.
