hi guys.. i wanna know if this is possible...of if there is a tool like this..
to have a shape, put in in a follow me path but it needs to rotate say by a factor...like divide by a factor, or multiply by a factor.
If the factor part is not possible, is the follow me with any rotate cycle possible. if so...pretty please πŸ˜„

maybe this will clarify a bit..
say if you want to make a cable...or a rope or a wire...couldnt this be cool
so instead of having this way below...you have the thing rotated making it look more believable to be a wire

As you have some plug like this, + a function Curve Array along a path mix it and you will have some old cables πŸ’š

Er, I'm not sure what this link relates to. The whole page is Chinese, and to be honest, on an English Language forum the overwhelming majority of us aren't able to read any of this.

If there is a Ruby plugin which can do this (as your post seems to suggest), it would be great if you could post it here. I'm sure loads of people would find it really useful.

Yes, Wikii, it would be nice to share with us the ruby you've created. I tried to translate and navigate the BBS page and even tried to register in order to have a try with the ruby, but with no luck. Telling us you've created this ruby without sharing is such a tease! 😞
I could really use this for one of my current projects. Thanks in advance.

I too would like to see such a ruby in action. However the only way I can see that possible is a 3rd party app, below is an example using an imported SU chord and twisting it using Hexagon2.2

I split the plugin from this request thread.

There is another ruby, however I do not remember where i got it or who made it. It's called 'rotated push pull' below is how it works.

Hm. That was my first idea, too. See above.

Hi all, has anyone out there been able to get "Follow Me Rotate" to work on SU17.
I have tried many different downloads but no luck yet.
                                Any help would be awesome
                                Many thanks, Murray
