Free ftp server needed

Hi
Im a new user and a friend of The Mayor and Im in need of some help. I'm a mac user and am looking for a free ftp server to download. I have a fcp video that is 1.1 gb and need to send it 2 a guy that is a pc user.
Can any one help me.

I dont really know anything about ftp transfers, but form what i can gather you can use your computer as a server, and if your friend has an ftp client installed on his machine he should be able to download it from your machine.

I can vouch for Filezilla. I use the client all the time and it is a great ftp software.
