Some fooling around with The Italian job theme.
This video is less relaxing than the earlier balloony one 😄:

      Sketchup (re-textured 3dWarehouse models) + SuAnimate + Fryrender:

          Mini ghost riders.

What apps did you use for car animation?

            Thanks Pete.
The animation setup is done using SU-Animate. Virtual Dub and After Effects were used to edit and post process the animation.

                Really great animation, Chris...!! 👍

Would be even more realistic if the wheels had been spinning... 😉
Doesn't Fry have build in motion blur..??

                Cheers

I couldn't figure out yet how to make wheels turn around their axis using SU-animate.
But indeed, Fry has a motion blur option so if I can figure the wheels out...

                      Thanks Jason.
Su-Animate definitely is worth the purchase.
There is room for improvement but it is really a powerful plugin and fun to use.
I do miss the incorporation of real world physics though. A bouncing ball for instance would be difficult to make.
Sketchyphyiscs can do that, but unfortunately that is not a 'keyframe-able' plugin (yet?)

Excellent! Su animate makes a big difference indeed. Do you know if su animate and vray work together?

Don't know about Vray as I haven't put Vray to it.
A good chance it will work. I'll try when I find the time.
