[Request] - Shadows
-
would it be possible for a ruby script to export shadows from a model as a jpeg but ignoring the actual geometry data ...
so on the jpeg all you would have is the shadow from the model ...
-
You can do it with a style setting:
Monochrome Mode display, edges off, background and foreground color set to white, shadows on. -
ive still got faces and edges showing even when "display edges" is unchecked ... .?
-
That is a known bug unfortunately.
The way around is to make a style and set it to "Display Shaded Using All Same". Then turn front an back face default color to white in this style.
There was another workaround too, but I forgot it. Seemed like it was a little better for some reason.....
