Water House Part II
-
Working on a new design for a house near the water.
Gotta go now to get some groceries or my girlfriend will kill me.
More details will follow.

Back again.
The living room and seating area are on the ground floor with a nice view of the lake.
There is an open staircase leading to the first floor. First floor with a bathroom, and two bedrooms. The model is rendered in Kerkythea with a global sky and water material.
House is still under construction. I need to add a few more rooms etc.
P.s. This is the first version of the Water House:
Comments, feedback welcome!

Ward... I would suggest a different water texture or bump texture for the water... something looks funny. I see that you are using the globals from Kerkythea... they are great however some of them tend to over power the image IMO... so try to pick one that compliments your scene. I like the design and once you get a few things ironed out it should be a spectacular rendering!

eduardo very well, looks much progress in your work, I especially like the texture of the stones, maybe you'd have in your interiors that use other components of higher quality than those that brings SketchUp, that helped a lot, greetings

Prefer the first water house.
In WH2, I think the smaller windows should be the same white colour as the large windows facing the lake.
How are the large windows going to open so that people can gain access to the balcony?
Wouldn't building the house into the lake add massively to the cost of the building while not adding that many benefits??

Thanks for the comments guys!
@ Bubba
Can you help me out with some more global skies? I like to try some other ones.@ rcossoli
The stone texture on the facade is from SU. I'll have to get some higher resolution textures.
Thanks for your comment.@johnsenior1973
I've changed the color of the smaller windows and added a sliding door so the residents can acces the pier / balcony thingy.
Also I think you are right about the building costs on the water, so I've pulled the house back a bit.Got some new renders, hope you guys like 'em!
Comments welcome.Regards, Ward

Discovered the "walkthrough animation" in Kerkythea yesterday.
This is my first animation test. Scene has 481 frames, rendertime about 9 hours.Kerkythea is great!
