getting bigger all the time
Hey, even I got that funny. So Jimmy...
As I understand it, isn't a "Goon" in surfer slang a unskilled surfer? I doubt that really applies to you. -
This thread is surreal.
First people get to be slashed in pieces and now we get sweet kid talk?Man, I am out of here.
-
Thanks Jim Lets try and make this place a good
Corner Bar to visit for some smiles, frowns and even the
odd tear but mostly laughter, after all that's the best
medicine for whatever ails us.Mike

You guys are kidding me?
Jimmy hurt some people for the cause 'to make a point' and now you are thanking him.
That's nuts. This thread is about as fucked up as the 'capital punishment' thread was. Totally shocking to me.

I hate to admit it, but I almost think Jimmy, alias GoD,actually had a point. (not in the way he intended it though). -
Still waiting for your poems and music GoD.

When I got online to post my last post, I had planned on finally spoiling Goon's Identity and handing out his phone number so everyone could prank (crank?) call him and then giving out his street address so you could TP (toilet Paper) his house and write your name in bleach in his lawn and then also post his photo so you could jump out from behind buildings and scare him when he was out walking. But since he came clean, I thought why not let bygones be bygones? Ahh good times Jimmy, good times.

Maybe Gary will come back too?

I'm thanking him for offering the olive branch NOT what went before.
I thought that would have been obvious?Chris,
I definately won't step on your toes any time soon

Kwist, I understand your position. Quite frankly, Goon was beginning to tick me off and that's not easy to do. I usually pass over these kinds of rantings, roll my eyes and think "get over yourself and lighting up".
But I must say that Goon's admissions of destructive behaviour should be accepted and forgiven. I hope they are sincere and that our community as a whole gives him another chance to redeem himself by allowing him to become an inspiration to this forum.
If he misbehaves again... well, we'll just have to string him up by his toes, pluck out each one of his pubic hairs with a blunt, dull tweezer until he whimpers away never to be heard from again.

MikeI don't think I am the kind of guy that needs to blow steam in other peoples faces to vent my own frustrations.
In my life, I try to respect people for who they are as much as I can.
Not always with great success, but I try.I must admit, GoD almost got me going...really had to bite my nails not to really sharpen my knifes.
As much as I sometimes would want to return the bashing, I learnt that with sitting out those emotions for a while, anger fades away and more sensible thoughts come by. Getting control over emotions is a satisfying process. There is no shame in expressing anger though, but it is better to play the ball than to play the man.
And about forgiving the man for his personal attacks(as Tinanne suggests)?.
Sure, but not before he has put in the same amount of energy in regaining respect as he has put in loosing it. Quid Pro Quo. -
Kwistenbiebel,
When I said, 'Chris, I definately won't step on your toes any time soon ',
I was referring to Chris Fullmer's description of what he will be considering
doing if / when someone steps on his toes. I was joking of courseNow I am thinking its Tina that I should be FAR MORE AFRAID of with those
blunt, dull tweezers of hers. The thought of it .... OUCH!Jeees! Ross! ..... lets not get carried AWAY

Jimmy, sorry mate, I'm disappointed.....this was your 'Road to Damascus'!!!????....I would have expected that stronger stuff than that would have been needed to turn your head.
-
Gee, Stu ... I'm a bit dissapointed in you. Siding with bullies is bad enough, but not having the cojones to rile things up yourself ... Ugh.
Again: do something if you wanna see things change. This kind of whining and whimpering is REALLY becoming annoying. And frankly, it's too easy, mate.
-
Stinker, we just can't seem to agree on anything...can we?
One day we should have a good hug and sit down and talk things through.
In the meantime, get out the old Collins dictonary and check the meaning of 'irony' -
What, you were being ironic all of the sudden? And you decided to do that just when I ran out of coffee? Bad call, Stu!
Oh well.

I still don't understand why he does it,
Everyone needs a hobby. This is his. His pathetic hobby reflects how pathetic his life is.
-
My 2 cents: he gets one more chance. One. If he crosses the line again, show him the door.
-
You know it's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. . . .
-
Funny part is: he was so totally off the mark with me that that almost ticked me off...I'll give him credit for some understanding of human nature (and now guard mine all the more :`)
