I got a few questions for you lot. No doubt they'll sound stupid, but I can live with that. 😄

      1. If I got wavy lines in my (V-ray) render, will those show on a print, or is it a monitor thing?

      2. If I got moiré effect in my ... et cetera.

1: What do you mean by wavy lines?

        1. Depends on the resolution you'll print at- ironically the worse the resolution the more reduced the moire effect will be (it should blur it out a bit). Applying a gaussian blur in PS will help, but it's better to fix it at the source- increase the "HSph. Subdivs" setting in the Irradiance Map menu in VRay- it increases render times pretty much proportionally, e.g. 100 takes twice as long as 50, but for certain models (lots of detail, very moirey textures, etc). An HSph. Subdivs setting of 100 is usually enough to reduce moire of brick patterns for example, occasionally I've gone up to 200 if I really need to pick out details, especially in reflective materials.
