Does it ever actually get warm enough over there to swim????

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.

OMG! I could have lived without that image in my mind. Thanks a lot Remus!

                  Fixed that for you.

That photo seems odd to me. Notice the fool is just standing in a few inches of water. Why would they cut the hole in the ice so close to shore? You'd think they'd cut it in deeper water so he could take a real plunge. And what's that odd tool the guy in the pink shirt is wearing? Perhaps he used it to do a lobotomy on speedo boy.

Julian, id assumed he scar was just rolls of fat πŸ˜›

And i imagine they cut it so close to the shore so he got a bit of a gradient going, i reckon when you get to the other end of the pool youll be un prime wallowing water (apart form it being about -2 in there.)

ice swimming is not so bad! i have done it myself a couple of times, but only after a nice and warm sauna. you just have to wear socks (yes, JUST socks, nothing else) so your feet do not stick to the snow. the rest is a stroll πŸ˜„ very popular in finland, i hope anssi confirms this...

there are even ice swimming world championships!
