This is my second livingroom project. I'm still struggeling with Kerkythea. My goals is a pic that looks photorealistic in the eyes of a average customer. I think this one is already better than my former living room render ( recent post .
At the moment i'm busy with a real estate project for a customer so I cant post pics of this project. As ussual feedback is very welcome.

        hi pugz1983,

unfortunately your image doesn't display (only in editing mode). that happened to me, when I tried to link picasa images. therefore I use imageshack (works like a charm).

        but to your image:

nice spacious living room! I especially like the glass-steel banister.

there are some things I would change.

        • the reflectiveness of the stair string seems a bit too high for me. the same on the floor (look at the reflection of the bamboo between the windows...
        • the spotlight in the corner is a bit bright for the time of the day (almost looks like a small floodlight)
        • it would be nice to have an image with higher resolution outside the window.

but all in all this is a very atractive render. looking forward to see some more 😉

I hope this solves the problem of the pic not showing. Thanxs for your constructive feedback. I'll give it a tweak when i get home from work.

              Pugz,
Really nice image, I love the Camera angle. Did You export it like that
or did You make a new Cam in Kerkythea.

Exported the camera from SU. At this moment i'm rendering an image with the camera on the stairs looking in to the room. Hope this wil also come out nice. I'm realizing that the quality of the renderings depends strongly on the complexity/detail of the SU Design. Hoping to show a few pics from a real estate project i'm working on. It's a lot more detailed then my ussual posts.

Nice image, Mr. Pugz. The only crits I have to add is perhaps add some reflection to the floor, and give that rug some thickness.

                    My avatar is an anachronism.
