F1 for Kids by Bonnie Roskes

Hi All,
I've just got an email form Bonnie Roskes in relation to
her new venture, F1 for Kids. The site is located here,
http://www.f1forkids.com/Its an interesting concept, SketchUp for Kids and Bonnie
handles the subject very well ...... then again she has
quite a flock of kids herself so she would know
While this is a SketchUp for Kids product I also think
that an adult with NO COMPUTER SKILLS to start with
might find the going very easy.I say this because I find teaching programs make all kinds
of assumptions about their pupils basic skills. When it
came to me learning a little about software programming
I found http://www.Alice.org an excellent program / site
for gaining basic understanding about software programming.
This program also took a similar approach. I must find
some more time to continue with it

I made a visit to my Mom's school. And the teacher had a smart board and had me hook up Su to the smart board. The kids had no trouble understanding basic concepts of painting in color putting objects like cars and people etc into the scene, just by draging with there hands on the smart board. It was an amazing thing to watch. Infact they taught me how skecthup can works with a smart board. It was majical.
