WTF is going on here!?
-
This Corner Bar is based on the old SU Corner Bar...a place of great fun, conjecture, arguement and challenge.
So, what's happening here?....well what's REALLY pissing me off is the the continuous barrage of artifically generated 'surveys'.....'What's your favourite dog food?'...'Are you a scruncher or a folder?'...'Do you believe in faries?..and if so, how many do you have as friends?'....and so it goes...ad nauseum.
Can I say, guys, and I dont intend to get personal, you know who you are....this is not a place for continual personal recognition, ego massaging and artifical importance.....its a place that should be far more organic and spontaneous....and INTERESTING!.....things just happen...we dont need all the 'WHAT'S'

BTW - long time no see, Stu! Note if you are not here, you cannot "generate" those "far more organic and spontaneous....and INTERESTING!.....things"!

Gaieus,
Yes, your right of course ....there was a time when I had more than enough to say here...but times change...and my main role now seems to be that of a s**t stirrer -
I was also just kidding, Stu.
But seriously; it's youguys who "make" this place. Make it more comfortable for you then!
BTW - I sent a PM to you
-
Looks like someone didn't find the 'what pisses you off ?' thread yet .

@Stu,
I think it is fairly normal that there is less 'interesting' stuff to share this time of year.
In Northern hemsiphere, summer is kicking in....Wait for 2 months longer, and interesting things like new software etc...will be news again.
In Dutch they call this "pruimentijd"

Perosnally i dont think there is any such barrage. I count 5 such threads on the first page of the corner bar out of a total 25 threads. The numbers decline sharply after that, with only 2 more such threads in the next 4 pages.
Id interesting threads outnumber the 'whats...' thread by a lot, although obviously this is very subjective.
