What do you look for when you sign in?

Dear All,
Since this is directly related to the Forum and all things Sketchup I thought it best to post here.
I must visit the Forum 3 or 4 times daily, with my longest session between 6:00 am and 8:00 am. This is what I look for (top four):
-
New techniques and tutorials, and particularly, how to use existing tools in new and surprising ways. I would like to become a better modeller for both work and play.
-
New plugins, which I tend to monitor for a while rather than download immediately. I need to know that the plugin is going to be useful to me before I download it, and that takes a little time to decide. Seeing how others use a plugin usually helps, so more examples please.
-
Cries of help and the solutions that follow. This is where I learn most.
-
Presentations of new work (usually in Gallery), although it would be nice if more of the presenters would use the opportunity to share a few techniques. Silver-Shadow has been brilliant in this respect, and a great inspiration.
Okay, what do you look for when you sign in?
Kind regards,
Bob -

First off would probably be general banter in the corner bar.
Then its usually a trip to the gallery to see if anyones posted any cool new stuff, id say this is probably one of the more interesting bits of the forum. I find it very good for inspiration.
I then usually check the ruby forum for new scripts, as there always seems to be something new and interesting waiting around the corner.
Finally i usually end up in the SU and newbie forums for general troubleshooting stuff.
-
I go to 'Active topics' and knock off the topics from top to bottom, trying not to miss a single post.

Well, after some general board stuff (involving admin duties and discussions with the mods) I generally go to the Newbie Forum then the SketchUp Forum then the Corner Bar then the Ruby Forum... The last I visit is generally the Gallery - not because that's the worst but "duty first and entertainment afterwards" - plus that is the "dessert" of the meal for me.
This has changed a bit lately (although getting back to regular now) as there were important discussions abozut the BaseCamp in the Corner Bar so I visitet that first (maybe not any more).
I'm still trying to Catch Up with what I missed during BC

I usually check out the Newbie and SketchUp sections first to check on problems or see if anyone has responded to a solution. Then I head over to the Ruby and Corner Bar (in no particular priority) to see what's new there.
Oddly enough for a trained artist, I don't visit the Gallery all that often. This is probably because I don't have much use for rendering techniques in my own work. The concentration is entirely on the construction of a component, not making an artistic render from it....although I do have to occasionally check that stuff will render correctly.
I think also that I'm far more biased to getting my hands dirty with real media to produce a finished image rather then rendering a SU mesh. This is not to suggest that there isn't some brilliant imagery being exhibited in the GalleryI have three tabs set up on Firefox as my home page...FormFonts, SCF and the SU Beta Forums. That maybe explains why I appear to be around so much...I'm probably logged in but actually working on the FF tab.

Similar approach to Pete - I click 'New Posts', go to the end of the list and middle-click to open them all up in new tabs (or in batches of 20 or so if there are a lot). Then I click through the tabs - I have the forum set up to show the latest post first. If it's not of interest I close the tab, if I want to know more I'll scroll down to see all the new posts in the thread.

I'm usually making quick glances throughout the day while at work. I will scan the latest submissions in the Gallery, and then the corner bar. Sometimes I will look in the SU discussion forum, or the components.
