I agree the rear wheel looks like it was stolen from a shopping cart, otherwise it looks like great fun.

Yes, but aren't trolly cart wheels about as tough as they some ๐Ÿ˜„
Can't see myself on one but again you never know. If the price
of motor fuel keeps going up the upward direction we might all be
giving The Magic Wheel a second glance. I wonder could an umbrella
or some weather protection set up be attached to one?

Given all the tricks kids do with skateboards, I can't see the magic wheel replacing them. And as far as the safety thing goes, when has that been a factor for kids? ๐Ÿ˜‰

        My avatar is an anachronism.

Interesting. It's not really comparable to anything else. You can't compare it to a skateboard, because it obviously can't do tricks. On the other hand, a skateboard can't cope well with grass or gravel, which that large wheel would have no problem with.
It's more akin to roller skates, or even a segway...something that will get you from A to B...the difference being that you don't need to strap it onto your feet, wear special boots or look like a complete dork.

Except when you hold onto it (grip between your legs) that would seem to look rather odd IMO.

๐Ÿ˜„ Indeed Juju, that looks odd.
But still this is a nice invention.
I definitely would like to try it out. Looks like a useful thing to get across the city.

...... LOL, Mmmmm I think I'd look like a complete dork trying
to get the hang of it. Check out the first video on this link,
                http://www.lifegoggles.com/1271/the-magic-wheel-eco-product-review/
to learn that its NOT that easy to pick up the skill of Wheeling!

Then again I can remember when I was 5 and learning how to ride
a bike. I had my Mom running alongside me holding the saddle and
helping my balance. The she let go (without me knowing ๐Ÿ˜‰) and
off I went. I wonder would she be willing to come to my rescue
again ..... maybe not such a good idea at 82, allthough I'd say
she would have a go ๐Ÿ˜„

That guy should have brought the Wheel to a gentle GRASSY slope
to help with the balance issue, just like learning how to ski.
                He must be a dork?

                Mike

PS: Tricks! I think its only a mater or time before kids get up
to all kinds of stunts. The guy in the second video is on his
mobile and licking his ice cream, a trick? In my book most
                definitely ๐Ÿ‘

On a slight tangent, I reckon this did more to kill segway sales than anything any competition could have dreamt up. ๐Ÿ˜„

                        i want one.

                        hell i want two.

though that would technically make it a bicycle.
